Silver Corporate Certification Advanced level for Procurement
KMG Rompetrol – the management division of KMG International Group in Romania was granted a procurement excellence award for advanced silver level by the global professional organization the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) for high standards in procurement practices.
Rompetrol is the first company from Romania and from Eastern Europe, to receive the Procurement Excellence Advanced Silver Award in 2020, the certification awarded by CIPS.
In recent years, the company’s procurement processes have been aligned to international standards, simplifying the process of contract approval at the Group level, improving supplier management, reducing risks, and improving the quality of their services and goods.
Receiving the CIPS PEP award also demonstrates a higher degree of trust in the industry and supports the establishment of new partnerships and provides access to a growing network of business representatives in key industries.
We act responsibly in all our operations. The procurement department is focused on the need to deliver quality products and services to the company, and we enforce best industry practices by encouraging our suppliers to meet certain standards in the following areas: Environment, Health and Safety, Quality, Delivery, Human Rights, Labor Standards, Anti-Corruption and Business Compliance.
We are committed to best practices in corporate governance as it affects all our communities of stakeholders, including our employees, local and regional communities, suppliers, investors, and partners.
We expect to harness industry best practices by encouraging our suppliers to meet certain standards in the area of Environment, Health and Safety, Quality, Delivery, Human Rights, Labor Standards, Anti-Corruption, and Business Compliance.
In these regards, we have the Supplier Code of Conduct for the purchase of goods and services, which we ask our suppliers to revise and follow.
